A fantastic day all-round for the Kimmax team as Kimmax Kiss Kurl for Klancraig (Lottie) owned by Penny and Gary Craig gained her first CC at the tender age of 14 months old, clearly following in the footsteps of her mother Sh. Ch. Kimmax Kiss and Tell for Klancraig JW and her grandmother Ch. Kimmax Rock the Kasbar.

Timo gained his all important 3rd CC under Breed Specialist Barbara Stamp to gain him his title which seemed well overdue according to everyone’s comments, Timo is our 16th Titleholder and our second titled imported Deutsch Drahthaar. Many thanks to the judges that have recognized Timo’s qualities especially Val Grant and Des Hodgkinson who awarded him his other CC’s towards his title.

Timo has also gained 11 reserve CC’s in the UK, including Crufts, he also has a CACIB, a Reserve CACIB and a reserve CAC in Holland. He was also graded 11/10 at the VDD International Hegewald 2007 in Germany where his litter brother was ‘Most Beautiful Dog’ a rare honor.

Timo is the son of two very special dogs. His mother is our own Kira, the first UK dog ever to successfully compete at the International Hegewald and had her litter within the German VDD breed system. His father is the famous Italian bred dog, Ero III Del Zeffiro, who gained a perfect 12/12 form and hair grading at the Hegewald.

Kira’s ‘T’ litter was one of the most successful litters to date for the Bockenhagen kennels, producing Tom – the ‘Most Beautiful Dog’ and placed 7th out of 240 dogs at the International Hegewald 2008. Three others, Tina, Tessa and Toska from the litter were also placed and Timo won another HZP outright the next week.

Peter will now be busy working with Timo to prepare him the shooting season and for his next field gradings in Germany and UK. Maxine will continue to show him in the UK, Holland and Germany.
