Our 3rd Deutsch Drahthaar Litter

The years of hard work importing high quality Deutsch Drahthaars direct from the best kennels in Germany is now starting to pay off with a number of Kimmax Drahthaar puppies born in the UK and accepted back into the German system – we are the only UK kennels able to do so.

Our current Deutsch Drahthaar ‘C’ litter (born in May 2009) is one of our most exciting litters yet, though sadly with only 4 puppies we had to disappoint a lot of people (however we have found them all other good quality puppies now).

This is our dream litter, from our own superstar – Pauline – the result of a 2,500 mile round trip to visit the VDD Stud Show and the travel to use one of Germany’s hottest stud dogs, Watz Vom Liether Moor – and he can be seen on video at the VDD Zuchtrudenvorstellung 2009.

There were 4 puppies – a black and white dog (Schwartzschimmel), two liver and white dogs (Braunschimmel) and a liver and white bitch.

We are very grateful to Ines Oebel and Andre Van Aken of the Vom Auenwald kennels who owned and trained Watz and allowed us to us to be one of the last people to use him – Watz has now gone to Austria to spend the rest of his life doing what he was bred for – hunting. He is a very typical and stunning black and white Liether-Moor dog.

Watz is qualified up to VGP level with exceptional form/hair scores and Pauline gained 27th place at the Hegewald in 2006.
