Grace wins ‘Best Shaggy Dog’ in Kenya

Heard from Steve and Sally Mullens about the further exploits of Grace who now lives with them on Wasini Island in Kenya.
She entered a dog show over there and won the ‘Shaggy Dog Section’ and won a 1kg bag of crunchy dog biscuits …………….. wow, they get prizes !!
It was all for a good cause, it was a charity show and raised 175,000 Kenyan shillings (about £1,500) to save their branch of the KSPCA from going under.
Grace seems to have adapted well to life in the sun with the swimming pool and swapping hares for monkeys to chase !!
Funny though, when she left here all that time ago in the middle of winter, she was a black and white Mirko daughter …. just goes to prove when the sun bleaches black and white coats they go more brown (just as we have always said about brown beards on black dogs).
