The Breed Club Championship Show and Crufts have always carried the best entries of any year. In 1998 the Breed Club Championship show under breed specialist judge Pam Blay had an entry of 133 dogs Going back even further to 1991, when the breed was still relatively new, there was a Breed Club Championship show entry of 82 therefore, an entry of 40 dogs for 2007 is the lowest we have ever had, certainly from 1990 onwards.

All the other general Champ shows with CC's on offer usually have entries of between 20 to 50 dogs depending on the judge, therefore we were delighted to do so well at Leeds with the largest entry so far this year at a General Championship show, thank you for the congratulations.

You said that at the breed Championship Show (which you didn't attend) it was the lowest entry for many years and yet here you have put 'Leeds Championship Show saw judge, John Sheridan, with one of the best entries of the year - almost as many as the Breed Championship Show a few weeks ago. We had a super day.' Would that then mean that the entry at Leeds (where you did so well, congratulations) was very small too?
